Holy Scriptures
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true that the inspiration of God was used for the Holy Scriptures. In this inspiration, the chosen men of God were used by the Holy Spirit to write the revaluation from the words of God in the sixty six books of the Bible. We hold to be true that this Heavenly inspiration ingratiated itself justly and completely in all of the Holy Texts given to us in the original manuscripts. We hold to be true that the entirety of the Holy Bible in its original manuscripts is God-breathed, infallible and inerrant. We hold to be true that the Holy Scriptures was written for us however wasn’t written to us so we approach the Word of God with a literal, grammatical-historical study method for the interpretation of the Holy Scriptures. We challenge ourselves to not ask the question what does the Holy Scriptures mean to us because God’s Word has meaning regardless of our view so we ask what was the authors intention for the people who he wrote it to. We then take that one intent which is the only interpretation of the text and apply it to our daily life, and rather Old or New Testament should point towards the life, work, first and second coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
GOD
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true that there is only one living, all knowing spirit and true infinite God who is the Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer, and Supreme Ruler of everything. This one God reveals his existence to us as three Persons-Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In this Trinitarian view point of God we hold to be true that each equally deserves worship and obedience in the sight of man.
GOD ( Father )
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true that the first Person of the Trinity, God the Father commands and discards everything according to His will and favor. All creation exist because of Him. He is the only omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresent Authority in the universe. He has dominion, protective care, and redeems all of creation. His parenthood role as Father includes both His selection within the Trinity along with His connection with creation. As the Creator and not the creation He fathers all of humanity, but He only shares the spiritual parenthood to those who believe in Him. Everything that happens He has ordained it for His honor. He never cease to sustain, control, and rule over creation and matters to come. In His supremacy He is neither architect nor endorser of sin, nor does He lessens the responsibility of ethical, thinking people. Through His grace He has called before the beginning of time those who would be from Him and for Him. God the Father rescues us from that which separates us from eternal life through believing in Jesus Christ. We hold to be true that God the Father embraces us as His children when we believe in Him, and by doing so becomes Father to that which is His.
GOD ( Son )
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true that Jesus the Christ is the second Person of the Trinity, owns all the Holy attributes, while at the same time being equal, same substance, same essence, and equally eternal with the Father. We hold to be true that God the Father created everything in accordance with His will, through His Son Jesus Christ, by which everything continues to exist and operate. We hold to be true that the embodiment of God becoming man through Christ relinquished only the privilege of His deity but nothing of His godlike nature in any form. In this embodiment Christ received all the necessary attributes of mankind and became the God Man. We hold to be true that Jesus the Christ is the representative of mankind and God unable to be divided or separated as one. We hold to be true that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was born from a virgin. We hold to be true that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh and the reason of the embodiment was to divulge God, save humans, and have dominion over what is His. We hold to be true that in the embodiment, the second person of the Trinity put aside His entitlement to the full privilege of equally existing with God and accepted the role of a servant while never depriving Himself of His Godly characteristics. We hold to be true that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ saved us by giving His life in the shedding of His blood and sacrificial death on the Cross of Calvary which was of His own free will, vicariously, substituting, propitiatory, and redeeming. We hold to be true that those who repent from their sins and believe that Jesus died on the cross so they may live is free from all that sin brings and that they are declared righteous, given the gift of eternal life and become apart of the family of God. We hold to be true that our justification is complete by Christ resurrection from death and that our Lord has risen into Heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father as an Advocate and High Priest who mediates for us. We hold to be true that in Jesus The Christ resurrection from the dead, God firmly established the divinity of His son and in doing so gave evidence that God approved the atoning work of Christ on the cross of Calvary. Jesus’ physical bodily resurrection is also the assurance of a future resurrection life for those who believe in Him. We hold to be true that Jesus the Christ will come again to take the church being the Body of His unto Himself at the rapture, and returning with those belonging to Him in the church in high renown, will set up His millennial kingdom on planet earth. We hold to be true that God will judge everyone being believers, living inhabitants on earth, and the unbelieving dead at the Great White Throne through Jesus the Christ. We hold to be true that Jesus Christ is the concluding Judge of all who refuses to place their belief in Him.
GOD ( Holy Spirit )
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true that the third Person in the Trinity the Holy Spirit is a Heavenly Person, without end or beginning, owning all the characteristics of identity and divinity including understanding, feelings, will, immortality, omnipresence, omniscience, omnipotence, and truth. In all the Heavenly characteristics the Holy Spirit is equal and of the same substance with God the Father and God the Son. We hold to be true that the Holy Spirit work to carry out the heavenly will with connection to all mankind. We hold to be true the Holy Spirit divine action in the creation of the world, the embodiment, the written word of God, and the hand He played in salvation. We hold to be true that the Holy Spirit began its work in this era at Pentecost when he was sent from the Father as it was told by Christ to begin and finish constructing the Body Of Christ which is the Church. The wide span of his heavenly duties includes judging the world of its sinful acts, of holiness; honoring our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and converting those who believe in Christ into His image. We hold to be true that the Holy Spirit is the miraculous and ruling representative in the rebirth, baptizing by fully immersion into the Family of Christ. The Holy Spirit is also permanently present in someone’s mind and soul, set apart and declare Holy, directs, gives power for service, joins them together until the time of redeeming. We hold to be true that the Holy Spirit is the Heavenly instructor who presence lead the apostles and prophets into all truthfulness as they wrote what God wanted revealed in the Holy Bible. Upon a person accepting our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into their life they will immediately possess the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit and the obligation of all those who are Spirit born to be full with (directed by) the Spirit. We hold to be true that the Holy Spirit dispenses the spiritual gifts to the Church of God. The Holy Spirit neither seeks honor for Himself nor His gifts by pretentious displays, but rather He does honor Christ by applying His work from redeeming the lost and erecting believers in the faith. We hold to be true that the Holy Spirit is the Supreme Ruler in the bestowing of the gifts for the Saints perfection today, and that the gift of speaking in tongues and the working of signs and miracles in the days when the church was just beginning was for the reason of directing to and validating the apostles as bringers of the truth, and were never meant to be attributes of the lives of believers in the faith.
Man
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true, that God created man in His image and likeness. Man was created sinless, possessing logic, intelligent mind, free will, firm resolve, and a virtuous duty to his Creator. We hold to be true, upon the creation of man God intended for him to honor God, take delight in God’s companionship, live in God’s will, and in such things fulfill his Creator’s plan for man in the universe. We hold to be true, that when God created Adam he sinned against God. The sin caused the faultlessness in man to vanished, inherited the punishment of death spiritually and physically, became the face of God’s extreme anger, and became structurally dishonest and absolutely unable of deciding or achieving God’s acceptance apart from the grace of God. With no way to redeem himself, man is desperately astray. Man’s salvation can only come from God’s grace through the redeeming actions of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We hold to be true that all of humanity was made through Adam and due to his sin we have inherited a sinful nature throughout the end of time with Jesus The Christ being the only one exception to the rule. Therefore all of humanity are created with a nature to sin against God, by decision, and by heavenly decree.
Satan
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true, that Satan is as real as reality itself, influences sin as a wicked embodiment, commenced the fall of man, and is sentenced to a decision in the lake of fire.
Creation
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true that creation starts with God and will end with God. We believe humanity is created in the image of God. We hold to be true that all of life came into being not by evolution but by the Word of God.
Atonement For Sin
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true, that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins according to the Holy Scriptures as a sacrifice that was substitutionary and everyone who believes in Him are saved by the blood that He shed.
Salvation
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true, that grace is a gift from God. There is nothing you can do to gain salvation or to help it, it is freely given to all those who put their faith in the completed work at Calvary from Jesus Christ. All those who believe will have their sins forgiven and enter into the family of God by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. We hold to be true, that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation which is eternal life.
The Church
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true that the true Church is made up of the following, those who have been saved through faith in Jesus Christ and has been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are joined together in the Body of Christ which He is the head of.
Baptism and Communion
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true that water baptism is by immersion as soon as possible after making a decision to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior. This is a testament of death to sin and resurrection to a new life in Christ. All true believers and only believers should partake in the Lord’s Supper, which is a commemoration ritual that memorializes the death of the Lord Jesus Christ in a solemn and symbolic manner.
Prayer
What We Believe & Teach
Our power to communicate with God is through prayer. Jesus’ salvation has removed the necessity for an intermediary between us and God, allowing us to speak directly to Him. No significant action, according to the Word of God, can be taken without prayer both before and during it.
A Christian Lifestyle
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true, that we have been called by God to starve the flesh and feed the spirit, so to live in the capacity of the Holy Spirit in order that we will not satisfy the passion of our flesh. Our flesh is never obliterated in this lifetime. In this constant war between flesh and spirit, we must constantly choose to suppress the flesh in Christ through the divine power of the Holy Spirit, or it will definitely take root in the life of a believer and shame our God.
The Great Commission
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true, that until our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ returns, it is our duty as His disciples to search for the lost, as commanded in the Great Commission, and to serve in His name those in need. We are to be the mouthpiece, and hand of Jesus Christ as the Divine Holy Spirit takes care of redeeming and reconciliation in humanity.
Walk Of Faith
What We Believe & Teach
We hold to be true, here at Cross Carrier Ministries to model ideals in Christianity. We hold to be true, that when one accepts Jesus Christ into their life, He changes their life completely, and you can enjoy the experience of growing spiritually. Being the case every follower of Christ at Cross Carrier Ministries is held to the expectation to trust, support, recommend, and defend the Holy Scriptures at all times. Regular fellowship, participation in our mission, and Christ-like living is of great importance, and required as Jesus Christ disciples at all times.
